Mission Statement

Independent Employee Benefits Corporation (“IEBC”) provides exceptional standards of operation efficiencies, including technological enhancements, in order to meet the needs of our Participants, Employers, and Local Unions, while maintaining personalized service.




The administrative office was established in 1956 to administer the Carpenters Pension and Welfare Funds of Illinois. In 1980, Independent Employee Benefits Corporation, a licensed third-party administrator, was formed to allow for the expansion of their services to provide administration to other Taft-Hartley Funds.

IEBC offers a full range of support services for multi-employer clients. Our experience includes administration of pension and welfare funds, general accounting, collections and contribution accounting, and complete administrative support for Boards of Trustees.

Our utilization of technology applications allows us to exceed industry standards, and a highly experienced staff provides a standard of excellence in customer service.
